Thursday, 8 November 2018. On Thursday, the Tresserre agrivoltaic power plant was inaugurated in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. According to Sun’R, the company behind the project, it is “the world’s first agrivoltaic demonstration system with controllable panels”. Solar panels installed on trackers at a height of 4.5 metres cover 4.5 hectares of vines on the Domaine de Nidolères, the family estate of Pierre Escudié.
